Mobile phone maker Karbonn is gearing up for the release of new smartphones running under Google’s Android operating system, with Karbonn Titanium S4 being one of them.

The mobile phone has already been spotted online at Flipkart, with a price tag of Rs. 15,990 ($258/ €187) attached to it, and it should be put up for purchase in both Black and White color versions, as fonearena notes.

Karbonn has packed the smartphone with a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) AMOLED touchscreen display, as well as with appealing hardware specifications, considering the handset’s price tag.

The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, most probably a MediaTek one, and also features 1GB of RAM inside.

Furthermore, the new phone packs 4GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the Karbonn Titanium S4 sports a 13-megapixel camera with auto focus, flash, and support for full HD video recording, complemented by a 2MP front camera for making video calls.

The specifications list of the new device also includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth, support for 3G networks (21 Mbps HSDPA), and GPS receiver with A-GPS.

Furthermore, the handset is powered by an 1800 mAh battery and features the entire range of usual sensors. It also comes to the market with Wi-Fi Hotspot and 3.5 mm audio jack.

Karbonn’s Titanium S4 will land in users hands with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, though it might also receive an update to a newer OS version.

Karbonn also touts the device as packing features such as Voice Search and Dialing, Multi-tasking, Graphics Support, Games, Face Unlock, and Voice Input.

Those who would like to learn more on the Karbonn Titanium S4 should head over to this page on Flipkart for that. The phone is listed there as coming soon, with no specific release date unveiled as of now.
