Mobile phone users in India interested in the purchase of an affordable yet appealing handset can now head over to Saholic to have a look at the offer that this wireless carrier has on the Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus.

The mobile phone comes to the market as the successor of last year’s popular Karbonn Titanium S1, but it packs some enhanced hardware specs and should be able to provide users with a better experience when compared to the original.

The new Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus can be seen on this page on Saholic’s website, available for purchase in a Black color version and featuring a price tag of Rs. 5749 ($95/€68) attached to it.

As one can imagine when looking at this price, the Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus won’t be released as a top-of-the-line device, though it will still be able to provide users with some appealing capabilities, that’s for sure.

The new mobile device was launched with a 4-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, which should deliver pretty decent performance levels.

Moreover, as fonearena notes, Karbonn has included 1GB of RAM in the new Titanium S1 Plus, along with 4GB of internal memory.

For those who think that this won’t be enough to save photos, videos, and other file types, we should note that a MicroSD memory card slot is also available on the handset, offering support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

The specifications list of the handset also includes a 5-megapixel camera on the back, with LED flash and video recording capabilities, as well as a VGA front camera for making video calls while on the go.

Moreover, Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus arrives on the market with support for 3G networks, as well as with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth with A2DP capabilities. It has also been released with a built-in GPS receiver, for navigation purposes.

The smartphone also features dual-SIM functionality (GSM + WCDMA) with dual-standby, which should make it a great option for those who want to stay connected to the networks of two wireless carriers at the same time.

Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus is powered by a 1500mAh battery and sports a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. The mobile phone runs under the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, though it might not come as a surprise if Karbonn updates it to a newer OS version in the not-too-distant future.
