It looks like Indian handset maker Karbonn Mobiles is on fire. The company launched three new dual-SIM Android smartphones yesterday and announced the immediate availability of two more Android tablets, the Smart Tab 3 Blade and Smart Tab 9 Marvel.

Customers who wish to purchase either of the two slates should know that the Karbonn Smart Tab 9 Marvel is better equipped, which is why it’s available for Rs 7990 (150 USD or 115 EUR).

Those who are only interested in price will probably want to choose the Smart Tab 3 Blade, which is available for purchase for just Rs 5990 (115 USD or 85 EUR) outright.

According to Karbonn Mobiles, both tablets have been built under its “established eco-system ‘Karbonn Smart,’ designed to ‘Massify Technology’.”

Android enthusiasts in India are probably already acquainted with Karbonn’s products, so they might know the new tablets are sequels to the successful Karbonn Smart Tab Marvel and Karbonn Smart Blade, which were launched in India a while ago.

Obviously, the new devices have been improved and now offer more power and enhanced functionality. In this regard, it has been confirmed that both Smart Tab 3 Blade and Smart Tab 9 Marvel are powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box.

In addition, each are equipped with 1.2 GHz single-core processors and packs 1.3-megapixel front-facing cameras, along with 3D gravity sensors.

However, the Smart Tab 3 Blade comes with a 7.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display, whereas the Smart Tab 9 Marvel sports a larger 9-inch capacitive touchscreen display.

Furthermore, the former is powered by a 2600 mAh Li-Ion battery, while the latter packs a 4000 mAh Li-Ion battery.

It is also worth mentioning that both tablets offer Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity, as well as 3G support through USB dongle.

Software-wise, the Smart Tab 3 Blade and Smart Tab 9 come with pre-loaded applications like Karbonn Smart Browser and Karbonn Smart games, TOI & ET app, Facebook and many more.
