Karbonn launched the Smart Tab 3 Blade and Smart Tab 9 Marvel tablets in India less than two weeks ago for Rs 5,990 (115 USD or 85 EUR) and Rs 7,990 (150 USD or 115 EUR), respectively.

Today, Indian retailer Infibeam announces Karbonn Smart Tab 3 Blade tablet is now available for purchase for only Rs 4,990 (110 USD or 85 EUR). Check it out here.

Although it’s aimed at the low-budget market, the Smart Tab 3 Blade comes with pretty impressive features that are likely to attract Android fans who do not want to rob the bank to purchase their favorite devices.

Karbonn and Infibeam have already confirmed the Smart Tab 3 Blade ships with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, which is one of the tablet’s main selling points besides the low price.

The Smart Tab 3 Blade is a 7-incher, so expect this one to sports a small 7-inch capacitive 5 point multitouch display. It packs 3D G-sensor for gaming and a 2600 mAh battery that will make sure users will not run out of energy.

According to Karbonn, the high-capacity battery should provide around 7 hours of Internet browsing, 8 hours of video playback or 25 hours of music playback. However, these are just estimates, so the real numbers for continuous usage might be lower than this.

The slate does not come with a rear camera, but users will be able to take advantage of the 2-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing photos or making video calls. In this regard, the Smart Tab 3 Blade packs Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as 3G support through USB dongle.

Hardware-wise, the tablet is equipped with a 1.2 GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
