Sadly, the phone is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and is likely to remain stuck on this version until it reaches end of life status.

The smartphone provides access to more than 700,000 apps and games via Google Play and comes preloaded with Whatsapp, GTalk, Google+, Facebook, YouTub, Kingsoft Office, Gmail, News, Weather and Saavn Music.

Furthermore, the Smart A12 sports a 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera.
