The handset is available via Infibeam for $180/€145 outright

Unveiled back in January, Karbonn S1 Titanium has just hit shelves in India. It appears that it took Karbonn more than two months to launch it on the market and we’re not sure if S1 Titanium is not available in limited quantities.

For the time being, Infibeam is the only Indian retailer that offers the Karbonn S1 Titanium. Several other authorized sellers have the smartphone available for pre-order, but they claim that it will go on sale later this week.

Customers who wish to purchase the S1 Titanium can do so via Infibeam for Rs 10,290 outright, which is about $180 or €145. Check it out here.

Keep in mind that the retailer ships all orders in 2-3 business days, so by the time other resellers receive the first units in stock, you will receive your S1 Titanium from Infibeam.

It Karbonn S1 Titanium is delivered with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and packs a powerful 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.

We also know that the smartphone boasts a stunning 4.48-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

There’s no word on the amount of RAM, but Karbonn has confirmed that the S1 Titanium packs 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus and LED flash, while on the front, there’s a secondary camera for video calls.

Other highlights of the handset include: dual-SIM capability, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as FM Radio, 3G network support and GPS with A-GPS.

Karbonn S1 Titanium is powered by a 1600 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 200 hours of standby time or up to 4 hours of talk time.
