Indian company Karbonn has just announced the immediate availability of the affordable Smart Tab TA Fone A37 tablet.

As AndroidOS points out, the tablet is only available via Indian retailer SnapDeal, but we expect more authorized resellers will offer the Smart Tab TA Fone A37 pretty soon.

Customers who wish to purchase Karbonn’s tablet can do so for only Rs 9,490 outright, which is about $175 or €135. Check it out here.

According to SnapDeal, all orders are usually dispatched in 3 days, which means customers will receive their devices pretty fast.

The tablet’s main selling point is the fact that it comes with dual-SIM capability, which is unusual for a tablet. However, this is not the first tablet to offer this feature in India.

Basically, users will be able to make and take voice calls with Karbonn’s tablet, or even send text messages and browse the web, as SIM 1 is 3G-enabled. Users can also make 3G video calls, as the tablet comes with VGA front-facing camera.

Software-wise, Karbonn Tab TA Fone A37 tablet ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

On the inside, the tablet packs a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

Aside from the front-facing camera, the Tab TA Fone A37 also features a 2-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features video recording.

The 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Last but not least, the tablet is powered by a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

Keep in mind that Karbonn Tab TA Fone A37 provides access to more than 700,000 apps and games via Google Play and comes preloaded with some useful software such as Flipboard and YouTube.
