A new Android-based smartphone from Karbonn has made an appearance online, in the form of Karbonn A91, which should arrive on shelves in the not-too-distant future with a low price tag and entry-level specs.

The handset has been listed on Flipkart in India with a price tag of Rs. 4490 ($72/€52) attached to it, and is expected to be released in Black, White and Red color versions, as fonearena notes.

Karbonn A91 arrives on the market with a 3.9-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touchscreen display, a 1.3GHz dual-core processor inside, and dual-SIM with dual-standby capabilities packed inside.

Moreover, the smartphone features 256 MB of RAM, 512MB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot and a 3.2-megapixel camera on the back.

A front camera was also included, along with a 1500 mAh battery, 2G connectivity, and WiFi. The smartphone runs under Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
