Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore Achievements (Xbox 360)

Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore is one of the many games created by Rock Band developer Harmonix in the Karaoke Revolution series. Even though the game has quite a few similarities with the aforementioned Rock Band, it is a really successful title that still fights head to head against the better known SingStar.

An interesting thing about the game's mechanics is that it does not try to understand the words of the singer, but detects the pitch of the voice. This means that singers can hum or sing whatever lyrics they wish - and this usually leads to very hilarious moments. And it is all good, since this is what Karaoke Revolution is about.
