14 DAY TRIAL // Last November, Kanye West released the official video for “Bound 2,” starring a pretty much nude Kim Kardashian getting her freak on with him on a bike. Though this might sound like a sizzling idea, its execution was so bad that it soon became one of the most ridiculed music videos – of all times, to use one of Kanye’s favorite phrases.
If Kanye had had his way with the direction of the video, it would have probably been even more unintentionally hilarious, he reveals in his very extensive interview with the latest issue of GQ Magazine.
Kanye’s biggest regret about the video is not doing the video in the first place: no matter how mocked he was for it online, in his mind, he is the greatest artist for having the guts to do it. In Kanye’s mind, “Bound 2” is a testament to his and Kim’s oh-so-special love story.
So, if Kanye could go back and do the video again, he would make sure to add more nudity to it. I’m assuming he’s talking about Kim, about removing some of the shadows that so cleverly covered her modesty.
Kanye says he wants to do “crazy, colorful” stuff like that, which also happens to include more skin. While he might not get the chance to re-do “Bound 2,” he could always ask Kim to star in another video. Now that she is his wife, she is “bound 2” not say no to him.
Speaking of Kim, here’s one final gem from Kanye, on how she taught him to pay more heed to her advice than other people’s: “There's a lot of Kim K skills that were added. In order to win at life, you need some Kim K skills, period.”
She might be a winner at life, but there’s only one way “Bound 2” can be improved upon. Thank you, Internet.
