Kanye is still rocking in Australia these days, but it seems that his summer of jet-setting and concerts is beginning to take its toll on the singer. Kanye has arrived in Australia a couple of days ago for a concert at the opening of a clothing store bearing his famous Yeezus brand.

The report comes from a local publication in Australia, Woman's Day, which claims that Kanye's state of health was so serious that he had to be rushed to the hospital, just hours before he had to go on stage and perform his concert in Melbourne.

Kanye was rushed to the hospital, the room is cleared by nurses

Insiders from his entourage confirm that Kanye was taken for the Epworth Hospital in Richmond after he started complaining for a severe headache. This was around 2pm on Wednesday and it turns out that his arrival at the hospital caused a big commotion.

Eyewitnesses confirm that Kanye and his entourage stormed into the hospital where they went straight to the doctors. One woman present at the time of the incident claims that the doctor's room was actually cleared out of all people by nurses so that Kanye could be treated in private.

“My daughter was having an MRI. Shortly after it began, security burst in and cleared the area,” Lorained Terry said. She goes on to explain that “Everyone was moved out of the waiting and consulting rooms. We were the only ones left apart from doctors and nurses. We couldn’t leave as the MRI wasn’t finished.”

The rapper was believed to have suffered from a seizure

Lorraine explains how Kanye was rushed in as he was lying on a stretcher and with one side of his face covered by a towel. She says that Kanye was still easily recognizable under his towel so there is denying it was him.

She describes his staff as “massively panicked” as doctors had serious reasons to believe that Kanye had suffered a seizure or was about to have one at that very moment.

Kim Kardashian, who is also in Australia with her husband, wasn't seen at the hospital, leaving people to wonder if Kanye's condition progressed so rapidly that there was no time to notify her of his state.

In the end, the rapper pulled through

Don't worry, though, Kanye pulled through in the end and he was well enough to perform on stage later that night. He left the hospital after two hours, during which time doctors ran a series of tests on him.

The hospital refused to talk about Kanye's visit or even to confirm he was treated at their facility. A spokesperson for the Epworth Hospital is quoted as saying that “we do not discuss or talk publicly about our patients without their approval.”

She was also keen to stress that “Yesterday afternoon we had 50 people in our emergency department. All were treated with respect and according to the severity of their symptoms.” There is no mention made about the fact that everyone was cleared out of the room so that Kanye could be treated, despite the fact that some people complained.
