It's common knowledge by now that every Kanye West concert includes at least one rant. The artist has many bones to pick and he chooses to pick them publicly. During his latest concert in Phoenix, Arizona, Kanye decided to address the issue of his two Grammy nominations, when artists like Jay-Z or Justin Timberlake got significantly more.

In a 20-minute-long rant about the musical industry, Michael Jackson, the Grammys, his talents as a kid, how he couldn't get signed in the beginning, his career as a producer and many other things, Kanye says he would rather he had no nominations than the measly two he received.

It started out with “I'm 36 years old and I have 21 Grammys. That's the most Grammys of any 36-year-old” just to set the records straight, but then he points out “Out of 21 Grammys, I've never won a Grammy against a white artist.”

Kanye's peeve is that, while “Yeezus” “is the top one or two album on every single list,” it's only gotten 2 Grammy nominations. After spewing out a string of obscenities at “them” industry people, he says it was just patronizing when people come up to him and congratulate him on those 2 nominations.

“What are they trying to say? Did they think that I wouldn't notice? Do they think that, someway, I don't have the power to completely diminish all of their credibility at this moment?” he fumed while fans cheered him on.

After complaining in his concerts about the lights, the sound, fans heckling him to take off his mask, about him being misunderstood, Kanye seems to be using his concerts as a platform for venting his frustrations, which brings into question the issue of why people should pay for concert tickets to hear him rant.

36-year-old rapper Kanye West is known for his egotistical view of the musical industry and for his outrageous comments that spark dispute constantly. The tour that promotes his current “Yeezus” album is billed to end near Christmas day but it's made more headlines because of Kanye's antics rather than his performances.
