14 DAY TRIAL // In between changing diapers and enjoying spending time with her daughter North West, new mom Kim Kardashian is also making wedding plans, according to a new report in the British tabloid The Sun.
Sources close to the couple tell the publication that rapper Kanye West, North’s father, presented the reality star with an impressive “push present”: a gorgeous black diamond ring.
Moreover, he also used it to pop the question to her, though he plans on buying her a “proper” engagement ring as well.
“New dad Kanye West asked Kim Kardashian to marry him just days after she gave birth to their first child. The reality star has accepted his proposal and the pair are planning a wedding in Paris this September,” the tab says.
“Kanye, 36, has not yet sealed the deal with an engagement ring, but he has splashed out £500,000 [$768,600 / €586,807] on a rare black and tiger-stripe diamond ring,” it adds.
According to the same media outlet, Kim and Kanye spent a fortune for the birth of their first child and that’s on accommodations alone.
Kim gave birth in an exclusive wing of the Cedars Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills, where she is believed to have rented several deluxe suites complete with personal chefs, a “personal labor coach” and all the luxuries one could hope for.
“Kanye wasted no money in making sure Kim had the best of everything while she’s in hospital,” says an insider.
“He has spent half a million on a ring as a push present and had it designed months ago in preparation. He’s even more in love with her now than ever and they can’t wait to get married,” adds the same tipster.
As of now, Kim is yet to debut little North (whom she and Kanye will reportedly be calling “Nori”) in public.
