As of late, though, fiancé Kanye West has been footing the bill for it.
Sources close to the much mediated couple Kim – Kanye reveal for Radar Online that, since she’s accompanying him on his Yeezus tour, Kanye thought it best if he paid for her team of stylists and makeup artists, because he wants her to always look her best.
Considering she’s photographed a gazillion times if she steps out of a car for as little as 5 minutes, that sort of makes sense. However, it doesn’t come cheap.
“Kanye has told Kim he will spare no expense to make her look ready to go to a major photo shoot whenever she desires. So, Kim’s hair stylist, make-up artist, and stylist all based in Los Angeles, are on call 24/7, ready to get on a private jet to be whisked to her location,” says an insider.
“Kim only trusts her team to make her look gorgeous and doesn’t want to work with outsiders. This doesn’t come cheap, and Kanye will shell out $250,000 [€181,831] just while he is on tour for Kim’s glam squad. The money doesn’t mean anything to him because Kanye wants his lady to look perfect,” adds the spy.
No expense is too much for Kanye, especially if it’s for the mother of his baby and the love of his life, as he’s recently referred to her on a couple of occasions. His Yeezus tour might be plagued by controversy but it’s selling like hot cakes, just like the album it’s supporting also does.
Kanye might be a lot of things (name a negative one and he’s probably it), but he’s also a very successful artist, whose music and concerts are always a hit with fans. If you also count his fashion endeavors and all kinds of merchandise with his name on the label, you can see he can definitely afford to pay half a million bucks for Kim’s makeup and hair.
“The truth is that Kanye spends a lot more than Kim does on clothes, accessories and cars. They are a perfect match for each other,” the insider adds. Truer words have probably never been spoken.
