When Kanye West started dating Kim Kardashian, the first thing that changed about her was the way she dressed. She credited the rapper with teaching her how to dress in a more provocative manner but also more elegantly, and she’s now thanking him by motivating him to get in shape.

The reality star is currently working hard to shed the last of the baby weight she gained whilst pregnant with daughter North, and Kanye too is on a mission to improve his health by shedding a few pounds.

So, instead of calorific treats and fancy 4-course meals, he’s getting by these days by just having 3 smoothies a day and 2 snacks, his personal trainer Harley Pasternak says for the Daily Mirror. This doesn’t sound like much fun, but Pasternak promises that the diet is a healthy one.

It’s called the Reset Diet and, as the trainer promises in his book, it can “Power Your Metabolism, Blast Fat, and Shed Pounds in Just 15 Days.” That’s the actual title of the book, by the way.

“I've known Kanye for many years and we've developed a very close friendship. We go on holidays together with our wives and daughters and I was there when he fell in love with Kim,” the trainer reveals. “My program for him covers exercise in the gym, his steps outside, and his lifestyle habits and diet.”

Besides dieting, Kanye is also hitting the gym almost daily and counts his steps when he’s outside. This way, he is bound to get more beautiful and quicker results in terms of weight loss and toning.

“For the first five days of the Reset diet he has three meals and two crunchy snacks. A white smoothie for breakfast, red smoothie for lunch and a green smoothie for dinner, made with protein, fiber and healthy fat in every meal,” Pasternak says.

“Kanye works out five times a week – and I also have to influence him when he's not training. He wears a Fitbit in his pocket every day. It's a device which monitors his activity so I can chart his steps on my laptop,” the trainer continues.

Kanye isn’t the only one to invest a lot of time and effort into getting in shape. A short while back, Kim had what looked like a meltdown on Twitter because she could not shake off the last pounds from those she gained while expecting.

It was then that she promised herself that she would work out more frequently and that she would take better care with what she ate. After she gave birth to North, Kim went on the Atkins diet but she probably ditched it in more recent months.
