At this point, that Kanye West tends to rant onstage about whatever problems he may have is a well-known fact. The other night in New York City, during a surprise performance at the Adult Swim’s Upfront, he did the same, talking about how he’s “no celebrity” and doesn’t want to play nice with the paparazzi.

The so-called meltdown comes shortly after he and his baby mama Kim Kardashian were ambushed by paparazzi and he ended up hitting his head on a street sign, after which he lashed out at one pap, asking to be left alone.

He doesn’t speak about the incident directly and neither does he name Kim, but voices online believe that this is what the new rant is all about.

You can see it here in full, but *please note that discretion is heavily recommended because of language that might offend.

“I ain’t no mutha[expletive]-ing celebrity… There’s one thing about me, I’m a terrible, terrible terrible celebrity. I don’t know if you really know there’s one thing about me but I’m the worst kind of, the worst kind of celebrity,” Kanye says.

“All I do is make real music. All I do is sit in the studio and make real [expletive]. And that’s it. And that’s mutha[expletive]-ing it. That’s mutha[expletive]-ing it!” he adds.

He goes on to say that he doesn’t want to be chased down by paparazzi because, obviously, he’s not a celebrity to enjoy it.

“So I don’t want no people runnin’ up on me with cameras, trying to like sell pictures and shit to magazines, asking me dumb [expletive] questions, throwin’ me off my focus and [expletive]. Harrasin’ you all mutha[expletive]-ing day. I ain’t no mutha[expletive]-ing celebrity,” the rapper adds.

He also tackles a rumor about how he convinced SNL producers not to include any jokes he didn’t like on the edition he’ll be performing on.

Some things are not to be made fun of, he says.

“I’m trying to make some music that inspires people to be the best that they can be. And I don’t want nobody else to ask anything of me! Don’t ask nothing else of me,” Kanye adds.

While all the things he’s saying make sense, voices online point out that he is dating Kim Kardashian, perhaps the role model for every other “celebrity” out there looking to launch a career for just being herself, with help from the paparazzi.

The irony is that the incident that prompted this, when he hit his head, was probably Kim’s doing because she’s known to call the paps in advance to let them know of her whereabouts.
