Kanye West Gives Kim Kardashian Fashion Makeover on TV

Shortly after Kanye West and Kim Kardashian went public with their romance, talk began about how he wanted to give her a style makeover, transforming her from the reigning queen of reality television into a bona fide A-lister. It's happening as we speak.

The latest episode of Kim's reality show, the E! Hit Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which also features appearances from Kanye, confirms what the tabloids had been saying back in May.

In other words, Kanye is working on giving Kim a complete makeover – and it all started with a raid on her impressive closet, as the video below will confirm.

Accompanied by a stylist he knows and trusts in, Kanye went to Kim's place to help her declutter and, at the same time, replace the items discarded with new ones.

“Kanye is coming over today with his stylist, and he is giving me a makeover,” Kim says in the introduction.

More likely, she has no idea that she will be made to give away so many clothes (many of them not worn once) or about 100 pairs of shoes, some of which she kept because she was feeling nostalgic about them.

However, Kanye is determined to show her what she's doing wrong where fashion is concerned and, though she protests a bit at first, Kim trusts him because he's also a fashion designer and has an eye for these things.

She praises him for the cameras on his taste and says that she's happy to have him by her side because he will help her improve her style.

Since they started dating, her personal style has changed and she believes that's what should happen. “He's inspired me to be a little bit more of an individual,” she says.

After Kanye's raid, Kim was left with very few items, but it's not like she had nothing else to wear: as noted above, Kanye brought with him countless new items to replace those they'd discarded.

Speaking of which, these will go on auction for charity.

“The clothes I got rid of will be up on eBay next month for a charity auction! Going to Life Change Community Church,” Kim tweeted.
