14 DAY TRIAL // Despite the fact that he's being investigated in a felony assault and battery case, Kanye West decided to jet off to Paris for a week and leave all those troubles behind him.
Reports have him arriving at the Charles de Gaulle airport in the France's capital city, but that he wasn't being accompanied by either his famous fiancée Kim Kardashian or his daughter North. Insiders told Radar that “He's in town for fashion week, for the men's shows.”
West is a known fashion aficionado, having dabbed with clothes design in the past. His feud with Nike over his sports shoes endorsement has made headlines all over the world last year. He has also claimed to come up with the idea of the leather running pants, which, thank God, never caught on.
Now it looks as Kanye is looking for new inspiration in all the right places, at the Paris Fashion show. Or maybe he's just trying to put behind him all the legal drama that's surrounding him these days after he allegedly punched a guy in the face for verbally assaulting Kim.
The entire incident is still being investigated by LA detectives. They are trying to determine what happened on Monday morning when Kanye allegedly assaulted an 18-year-old in the office of a Beverly Hills chiropractor for throwing homophobic and racial slurs at Kim Kardashian.
Kanye's previous “misdeeds” include misdemeanor battery of a photographer back in 2008 and a battery case against a paparazzo. These could seriously influence the outcome of a possible conviction.
The police are saying that the victim was wrong to have “said those disgusting things, but this is America … The fact that Kanye went on his own will into a place of business and got in someone’s face and allegedly hit him could result in him being charged with felony assault and/or battery. It will all depend on the severity of the injuries, and Kanye’s version of events, if he chooses to cooperate.”
