Kanye West Doesn’t Style Me but He Helps, Kim Kardashian Says

Kim Kardashian has been experimenting with fashion a lot these days, but the result isn’t always as spectacular as she’d like to think. Because many have blamed her boyfriend Kanye West for her latest fashion mishaps, she’s setting the record straight in a new interview.

Though Kim would be honored to call Kanye her personal stylist, the reality of it is that he’s simply too busy to be doing that all the time.

He does help her out a lot, the reality star explains, but that’s about it.

“He has amazing taste. Kanye has better style than I do!” Kim gushes about her beau in the interview cited by Hollywood Life.

“Kanye doesn’t style me. He’s a little too busy to be my stylist,” the reality star goes on to say.

Even if it weren’t for Kanye’s positive influence and extremely helpful tips, Kim would have still opted for a change in look. It was about time something changed, she says.

“I wanted a change to reflect the growth that I feel I’ve had over the past year. I’m old and more mature,” she says.

“I asked [Kanye] to introduce me to new stylists and designers [including Givenchy and Lanvin] to help me get the more sophisticated vibe I was going for,” Kim explains.

Sophisticated is the look she’s aiming for but it doesn’t always turn out that way. Just recently, for instance, Kim got thrashed all over the media for at least a couple of outfits that were both unflattering and ill-fitting.

Mistakes, we all make them, she says.

“I’ve made tons of fashion mistakes, but they are fun to look back at. Fashion is fun, and I love to try new things and take risks,” Kim muses.
