“In order to win at life, you need some Kim K skills, period.”

Regardless of what the tabloids are saying, Kanye West probably loves Kim Kardashian more than anyone or anything he’s ever loved in his life, his late mother not included. That becomes obvious in his latest interview with GQ Magazine, in which he says Kim is his rare dinosaur.

No, he’s not saying Kim is fat or anything of the sort. It’s actually a sweet thing to say to express his belief that the person he is with is his soul mate.

It is a well-known fact that, before she agreed to go out with him, Kanye had been Kim’s friend for over 7 years, during which time, as per his own words, he got to see her fall in love with other men and have her heart broken by them.

Now that he has her, he doesn’t plan to let her go, and no matter how many times haters tell him that he married beneath him because he’s losing credibility as a rapper by associating with a reality star, he isn’t about to start paying any attention to them.

Here’s a man who knows what he wants from life and refuses to let others dictate what that is.

“I love her. This is who I want to be next to and be around. And then people would try to say, ‘Well, you know, if you're a musician, you should be with a musician, and if you want to design, you need to be with a girl from the design world.’ I don't give a [expletive] about people's opinions,” Kanye says.

“Because when a kid falls in love with an airplane or a bike or a dinosaur – especially if you're an only child and it's not because of the book that the sibling was reading – it's like, [expletive], you mean to tell me that the dinosaurs walked the earth and stuff like that?! That's amazing! […] You mean to tell me that this girl with this [expletive]-ing body and this face is also into style, and she's a nice person, and she has her own money and is family-oriented? That's just as cool as a [expletive]-ing fighter jet or dinosaur! And just as rarely seen,” he continues.

He believes that his marriage to Kim Kardashian is “the ultimate example of a person never losing his dinosaur” because he saw her, fell in love with her, and had the patience to wait for her to see that he was her Mr. Right.

Kim is Kanye’s dinosaur. Even though the rest of his GQ interview is packed with hilarious / infuriating Kanyeisms, this is actually the sweetest thing he’s ever said.

It’s almost as cute as Phoebe’s lobster theory from the sitcom “Friends.” Close, but not quite there yet.
