The Kim Kardashian – Kanye West couple is getting ready to take over Europe. As the pair is busy planning their French wedding, Kanye is also said to be secretly planning to offer his bride a most unusual wedding gift.

The Daily Star is claiming that Kanye West plans to buy no fewer than ten separate Burger King restaurants throughout Europe and gift them to Kim on their wedding day. This odd move could be related to the fact that Kanye already owns some fast food joints in Chicago, aptly named “Fatburger” bistro.

An insider reveals that “As always, Kanye is thinking outside the box when it comes to gifts for Kim. She owns all the jewels anyone could ever want, so he is taking the practical route by investing in businesses for her instead.”

The explanation would be that “He knows the fast food industry is reliable and lucrative, plus BK is international so he thinks it's the perfect fit for Kim.”

The restaurants will be located in the UK, Italy and France, so basically in most of the countries the couple like to travel to when coming over to Europe. This means that they'll have places to stop and grab a free bite to eat wherever they're on the road.

The successful entrepreneur is looking to take a more active role in his future wife's financial life that he's envisioned as less dependent on her mother and more self-sustaining.

As previously rumored, Kanye plans to gradually push Kim away from the reality series that has brought the family fortune and fame and become more involved in other projects that will generate income based on her own image.

This information is confirmed by the insider who points out “That’s where he sees her future career, away from reality TV.”

With the wedding date set to May 24, Kanye had better hurry up and buy those restaurants pretty soon, as time is quickly running out. The preparations for the big day are well under way and rumors are circulating left and right about who is invited, where it's going to be held and what degree of secrecy it will have.

So far, the news hasn't been good for freelance photographers and paparazzi looking to make a killing, because the couple has sold the exclusive rights to E! who plans to air the wedding as a 2-part special on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Also, security is said to be so tight that there won't be any cell-phones allowed at the ceremony and any phones found after that will be confiscated, regardless of your name and social status.

Now if we could only contain all those "Burger Kim" jokes we have lined up.
