The fact that Kanye's ego is larger than life is already well known, but the rapper might want to check his actions in the future, lest he become even more controversial than he already is. Media outlets are reporting that the rapper held a concert in Sydney over the weekend where he forced a disabled fan and another in a wheelchair to stand up, or he wouldn't start singing again.

There is a video of the outrageous incident and it's enough to make anyone cringe. The energetic rapper can be seen halting the concert and addressing the audience, informing them that he won't continue until everyone stands up.

Video shows how Kanye stops the concert and refuses to sing until everyone stands up

As people begin cheering and standing up, Kanye warns that he will notice if anyone hasn't stood up. “I can't do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and [expletive].”

One fan had to wave her prothestic limb in the air to prove she was disabled

Sure enough, there are some members in the audience who fail to conform to his demand. Kanye begins to point them out systematically and publicly shame them, as the crowds begin booing them. And as if that weren't embarrassing enough, the rapper continues to taunt the two people until one of them was forced to wave her prosthetic limb in the air.

Only after seeing the fake foot did Kanye relent his rant and concluded, “Okay, you fine.” But there was still one person sitting, which forced the rapper to begin grilling him in turn. Again, the crowd started booing, making the situation more uncomfortable.

The person who uploaded the video to YouTube seems a little more understanding on the matter, because he wrote under the video's description, “Kanye asks everyone to stand up, someone doesn't. Kanye asks them to stand up, they're in a wheelchair. Misunderstanding.”

Kanye resumes singing after this little snafu

Kanye does eventually begin playing, but only after he thoroughly makes sure that every person sitting down has a medical condition or a very good reason. While the rapper's scrutiny is admirable, it would be put to much better use in other situations.

For a disabled person, the handicap should be bad enough without having to point it out to an arena full of people and being publicly shamed for it. Maybe the “Yeezus” rapper had good intention, but as is usually the case with him, he went overboard and caused a very embarrassing and potentially scarring situation for the disabled people involved.
