Kanotix, a rock-solid Linux distro based on Debian, which contains the newest packages and recognizes more modern hardware than any other operating system in use today, has just received a special edition called LinuxTag 2013.
The developer of Kanotix developed a special edition of this distribution that has the Steam client pre-installed, and it's based on Debian 7.0.
Highlights of Kanotix LinuxTag 2013:
• KDE SC 4.8.4 has been implemented; • LXDE (Openbox or Compiz) with PCManFM 1.1.0 has been added; • Iceweasel has been updated to version 21.0; • Icedove has been updated 10.0.2 (available only for KDE images); • sylpheed has been updated to version 3.2.0 (available only for LXDE images); • Pidgin has been updated to version 2.10.7; • Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.9.0.
