Kanguru Solutions, a division of Interactive Media Corporation, has recently announced the introduction of a new full featured, entry level, hard drive duplicator. Simply dubbed Kanguru HD Duplicator Mini Clone, the new product has been designed as an ultra compact, stand alone solution, being able to provide users with the means to back-up and duplicate data from one drive to another. The unit comes with a number of connectivity options, allowing for a range of storage devices to be connected and their content duplicated.

“This is a great solution for people or companies watching their bottom line.” said Noah Manders, product manager at Kanguru Solutions. “It has all the features people have come to expect from Kanguru Hard Drive Duplicators, at an incredibly affordable price. It is a perfect complement to our larger scale duplicators.”

According to the specifications of the new Kanguru hard drive duplicator, users are offered support for a range of storage devices, including 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives, USB external hard drives, eSATA external hard drives, or even USB flash drives. This ultimately provides for an extensive support, enabling more devices to be connected to the duplicator. Using the SATA interface will allow users to deal with faster transfer rates, of up to 120MB/s, making it faster for hard drives to be duplicated.

Additional features include an OLED display, secure erase/wipe function, resize/upgrade existing drives to larger capacities, fast drive imaging for backup and restoring, and a compact and portable design. The solution can be connected to either a Mac or a PC, via a USB or eSATA interface, making it a choice for a wider range of users.

The Kanguru HD Duplicator Mini Clone will be available for US$500, enabling you clone your hard drive, easier than before.
