Not that there’s any chance Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and Ryan Sweeting could ever forget the date when they were married but, should worst come to pass, they can always check their matching tattoos to find it out.

Over the weekend, at a charity tennis game in Calabasas, California, where they showed up and played as a color-coordinated team, the “Big Bang Theory” actress showed off her brand-new ink. You can’t see it in the photo above, but it’s placed on her upper back, between the shoulders.

The tat reads “XII XXXI XIII,” which stands for December 31, 2013, New Year’s Eve, when they were married in a fairytale-inspired ceremony to which Kaley also “invited” her fans via photos and videos made available online.

She got hers on her back, where it’s not visible all the time. Paparazzi managed to catch a glimpse of it because she was wearing a low-cut tank top and had her hair in a high ponytail but, if she were to wear a regular tee or let her hair down, no one would know it was there anymore.

Ryan has a matching piece, though his is in a place that everyone can see: on the inside of his arm. The numerals are enclosed in a shallow heart placed among flowers and, under them, Kaley’s name is clearly visible.

Ryan showed off his new piece of body art in the second half of January, shortly after they were married. It is not known if Kaley got hers at the same time and is just now showing it off, or if she had it done later.

The two started dating shortly after her very short-lived but very mediated romance with “Man of Steel” actor Henry Cavill, of which celebrity pundits say it was either a very hot fling that broke Kaley’s heart or just a PR stunt set up by their publicists to make him more of a household name with the American public.

One thing is certain, though: just days after they had broken up, Kaley stepped out with Ryan, looking absolutely smitten with him. Just 3 months later, they were engaged and admittedly in quite a rush to the tie the knot.

Cuoco never denied that there was something out of the ordinary in deciding that Ryan was the one for her on their first date, but she was not the one to pick a fight with fate, as she put it.
