Actress and fiancé Ryan Sweeting (i)legally tie the knot in hilarious appearance

Kaley Cuoco stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show the other day and, of course, she had to answer questions about her surprise engagement to tennis player Ryan Sweeting. Ellen even took advantage of the fact that Ryan was there to marry the two.

Of course, the ceremony wasn’t legal (the words of the staffer aka the ordained minister, “by the power invested in me by Google” are a solid hint in that direction), but at least both of them had a good laugh. Ellen too.

The interview started, as you can see in the video above, with a super-excited Kaley telling Ellen and her audience how she went on a first date with Ryan and “he never went home.” She knows that the engagement seems rushed but she insists that “this is it,” they’re in love and are eager to start a life together.

Then, at one point, Ellen told her that, if she wanted, she could save some money, time, and effort by marrying Ryan right there on the set. Because Ellen doesn’t do anything by halves, she even provided the bride with a gorgeous tennis ball necklace and matching veil, and offered to give her away.

In her generosity, Ellen even gave the newlyweds her rings to be married. Check it out!
