American actress Kaley Cuoco, best known for her role in hit TV series “The Big Bang Theory,” is a fierce supporter of animal rights. Hence the fact that she is not a big fan of Canadian seal hunts.

On the contrary, Kaley Cuoco has many times taken a stand against the practice of killing seals for their skins, and has expressed her support for the Humane Society of the United States and its efforts to protect these animals.

This past Monday 1, the American actress took to Twitter to share some really good news with the world: as it turns out, two seal pups have somehow managed to escape the slaughter and will hopefully get to live a long and happy life.

“I LOVE THIS!! 2 lucky seals who made their escape :) @HumaneSociety #saveseals,” Kaley Cuoco posted on Twitter, and she also included a link to a Humane Society of the United States video showing the two lucky seals going about their business. The video in question is available below.

Despite the fact that these two marine mammals have managed to survive this year's Canadian seal hunt, many others were not this fortunate. On the contrary, it was last month that the Society released footage showing many seals being beaten to death and then dragged across the ice.
