One of the most popular messaging applications for Android devices, KakaoTalk has just been updated to version 3.6.3.

The messaging service has more than 72 million users around the globe, developers of the Android application claim.

In the latest version of KakaoTalk, messages from chat rooms where alerts are OFF will no longer appear in the notification center at the top of the screen.

Aside from that, a few new bug fixes have been included in the update as well:

– Fixed the problem where a bookmark in a chat room was sometimes not seen properly; – Fixed the problem where the set background image of chat room changed to the default background.

KakaoTalk 3.6.3 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up. Check it out here.
