You might remember the Kairos smartwatch, which I detailed for you a few days ago. Compared to what’s being offered on the market today, the Kairos is quite an interesting appearance in the ecosystem.

The watch combines a mechanical timekeeping with a transparent OLED screen that lies on top of the traditional one, used to relay notifications.

The device has a proprietary Kairos OS and the website says that the smartwatch will be granted both iOS and Android compatibility. But if you’re a Windows Phone owner and you were hoping to grab this stylish beauty, we have good news.

As MobilityMinded reports, Kairos has decided to add Windwos Phone 8.1 support for its mechanical yet smart timepiece.

For those who don’t remember, the Kairos comes equipped with Bluetooth 4.0, 3-axis accelerometer, vibration motor and an 180mAh battery which is said to be capable of providing enough juice to last up to 5-7 days.

This beautiful watch uses the transparent OLED screen to relay notifications, emails, alerts and help you with media controls.

In the official press renders, the watch looks gorgeous, but we’re still a little far away from seeing the actual real-life device. Kairos is supposed to launch the product in December and when it does, it will be selling it starting at $99 / €72.
