Kaeria Updates Plastic Surgery Simulator for iPhone, Mac

Kaeria EURL has released Plastic Surgery Simulator 1.1 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and version 1.3 for Mac, updated versions of the application that helps people envision how they might look like if they underwent a cosmetic surgery procedure.
The app lets you stretch, shrink, or move different parts of your body based on photos of yourself. You can then switch between, before and after views and decide what you like best.
The people at Kaeria say that real plastic surgery results are never guaranteed, which makes Plastic Surgery Simulator a powerful tool in helping to balance the decision process.
"People want to be beautiful," says Kaeria CEO, Benjamin Melki. "With this app, users can distort their picture to see how they would look with a differently shaped nose, breasts, chin, buttocks, and so on. Sometimes, just a slight modification makes a tremendous difference to one's appearance. It can be shocking to see the before and after photos."
Categories of simulated plastic surgeries include rhinoplasty & chin, breast augmentation, weight loss, lips augmentation, liposuction, ethnic, pets caricature, and muscle augmentation.
They say the app is popular with plastic surgeons too.
As expected, the developers have a legal disclaimer for you before you run off to make yourself beautiful.
“There can be a difference between what can be achieved in the context of a real plastic surgery, and on a computer simulation tool. Success is not guaranteed. You must always evaluate these factors with a certified surgeon before considering a plastic surgery.”
The iOS app is universal - good for both iPhone and iPad. Version 1.1 delivers iOS 5 compatibility, and exclusive free access to the Befaft.com network, where users can optionally share their simulated plastic surgery pictures, and rate the pictures of other users.
Version 1.3 of the Mac app corrects a bug affecting the framing images while saving. There’s a free version to try out on your iPhone and the Mac app sells for $8.99 (roughly 7 EUR).
