A group of dedicated Heroes of the Storm fans have uncovered potential release dates and quite a few other gameplay mechanics for the two upcoming characters from Blizzard, as Kael'thas is set to launch tomorrow, May 12, while Johanna the Crusader is going to roll out alongside the final version of the game on June 2.

Heroes of the Storm has received quite a lot of interesting details in recent months, as Blizzard has kept on releasing fresh updates after the closed beta kicked off at the beginning of the week. Since then, the studio's released new heroes, battlegrounds, and features, while altering the balance to promote diversity and fairness.

In the last two weeks, the studio's revealed a release date for the open beta, on May 19, and for the final release of the multiplayer title, on June 2. It's also announced that the next two heroes coming to its experience are Kael'thas from the Warcraft universe and Johanna, the Diablo 3 female Crusader.

Unfortunately, the studio has refrained from offering any big details about the game, such as release dates or their list of abilities.

Kael'thas and Johanna get release dates and abilities

That hasn't stopped Heroes Nexus from datamining the recent files added to Heroes of the Storm by Blizzard, and quite a lot of great things were uncovered, such as release dates, lists of abilities, and a few other things.

First up, Kael'thas is apparently set to appear tomorrow, on May 12, after the game goes down for maintenance. The Warcraft wizard brings quite a few interesting fire-based abilities. Some deal damage in an area, like Flamestrike, while others are targeted or feature skillshots, like Living Bomb or Gravity Lapse. His heroic abilities include summoning a Phoenix familiar or unleashing a Pyroblast.

Johanna the Crusader also sports some interesting skills that deal area of effect damage, including Punish, Condemn, and Shield Glare. Her heroic abilities include Blessed Shield, which a skillshot that stuns on enemy and bounces to nearby ones, as well as Falling Sword, which causes Johanna to leap in the air and then land to stun and deal damage.

As of yet, Blizzard hasn't confirmed any of these new findings from fans but you can expect to hear something in the following days, including a possible release of Kael'thas ahead of the open beta launch of Heroes of the Storm.
