GoSolarUSA, the company that agreed to sell Yosion’s Peel 520 iPod touch accessory, has issued a report announcing big plans for the tablet userbase as well. In addition to the millions of iPads floating around, they also have their eyes “peeled” on the Samsung Galaxy Tab and Dell Streak.

“With the Apple iPad forecast by many to be 2010’s hottest holiday gift item, GoSolarUSA anticipates a huge market for its Peel 520 mobile accessory upon its release,” GSLO said.

The company goes to describe the functionality of the Peel 520, saying that the protective sleeve encases Apple’s iPod touch media player adding the ability to make voice calls and send text messages.

This, according to GSLO, will work the same with the iPad.

“GoSolarUSA and Yosion, the Peel 520’s Chinese developer, announced a development agreement to configure new versions of the Peel 520 for use with tablet computers such as the Apple iPad last month,” the company states.

“Our decision to fund the development of a version of the Peel 520 compatible with the iPad was heavily influenced by sales projections for this holiday season,” said GSLO President and CEO Tyson Rohde.

“Some analysts are predicting that six million iPads will be sold in this quarter, and over seven million have already been sold since the tablet’s release in April.”

“Clearly, there’s a very large market for iPad accessories developing around the globe,” Rohde said.

GSLO also mentions that Apple’s iPad has spurred a tablet frenzy worldwide, adding that Oprah Winfrey declared the tablet computer her “all-time favorite” thing on a recent telecast.

Finally, the company notes that its short term plans also include “exploring the development of the Peel 520 for use with competing tablet computers, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab and Dell Streak.”

“We are taking the steps we believe are necessary to be the first to offer millions of tablet users the opportunity to make phone calls and text messages using their brand-new machines,” Rohde said.

“We really envision the Peel 520 as the first must-have accessory for a new generation of computers,” the CEO concluded.
