14 DAY TRIAL // Kodak Alaris has announced the KODAK MOMENTS HD app for iPad users, a free solution for users to create professional-grade photo books using their existing photos (Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, etc.) with same-day pick up in store, or home delivery.
KODAK MOMENTS HD Tablet App features a friendly interface and KODAK Perfect Touch Enhancement Technology, which makes photos look even better, while SmartFit technology preserves the content without cropping anything off.
“Smartfit Technology [...] preserves the content of pictures no matter what the size, including difficult panoramic shots, and KODAK Perfect Touch Enhancement Technology for even better looking pictures,” Kodak Alaris explains.
Specifically designed to take advantage of large tablet screens, KODAK MOMENTS HD offers drag and drop functionality. You simply pick your favorite pictures, spread them in the app’s UI and then hand-pick those you wish to use in whatever order you want.
You can select images from virtually anywhere, including your tablet’s camera roll, from social and photography sites, etc. The UI proposes a certain workflow that takes consumers step-by-step from image selection to editing and ordering the book, so “even the newest iPad users will be able to effortlessly create photo memories,” the company says.

Kodak Alaris asks customers to note that the app uses web analysis service Localytics to “anonymously record your usage of different functions in order to provide the best application we can.” Users can turn off tracking in the setup menu should they not want their usage recorded.
To download KODAK MOMENTS HD Tablet App, all you need is iOS 7 and a compatible device: iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPad second generation, iPad third generation, iPad fourth generation, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display, and iPod touch fifth generation.
An Android version will be deployed soon, and the next update will deliver customized greeting cards, photo collages and calendars. Supported languages include English, Arabic, Chinese, Norwegian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and more.
