KKEdit 0.0.18, a text editor similar to Gedit (GNOME) and BBEdit (Mac OS), is now available for download and testing.

KKEdit features a few important functions such as: Jump to function declaration, Find Function declaration, Find and open include file, Multiple bookmarks, Save/Restore session, Pass selected text to external tools, and more.

Highlights of KKEdit 0.0.18:

• A command line switch (-m) has been added in order to override the single instance pref (used for running an extra version via the tools menu); • The Drag 'n' drop function has been added. This can be used to insert a text file into text; • Drag 'n' drop text between windows/applications is now possible.

Check out the official announcement for a complete list of changes and improvements.

Download KKEdit 0.0.18 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
