The commercial pokes fun at the awkward holiday situations in a musical

Kentucky Fried Chicken may have released this Christmas' most hilarious commercial with a musical bringing bickering people together over a bucket of chicken. Even Santa seems to be a big fan of KFC.

From Black Friday frenzy parody of two women fighting over the last doll, to annoying carolers, bad behaved kids and grumpy people, the commercial brings all of them together in peace and harmony over a big bucket of fried chicken.

But the best part of the video are the lyrics, they are hilarious, describing the exact situations that people find incredibly annoying on Christmas, mixed with a few finger licking good description of KFC's specials. “Typically I hate your guts, and I'd try to kill you but, one of everybody's vices, is 11 herbs and spices,” or “eleven months a year you drive me mad, this year you don't seem so bad,” is just a part of song that mocks Christmas related ads.

“Let's come together at Christmas time, put all differences aside, one thing I wish we all agree, the delicious taste of KFC,” the chorus sings while all of those fighting in the video gather around a big table enjoying some delicious pieces of fried chicken.

KFC decided to kick aside the sentimental part of Christmas and focus on the basics, awkward family reunions, crazy shopping, annoying carolers and neighbors and of course spoiled, misbehaved children that ruin the holidays.

“We wanted to make something that stood out from a lot of ads you come to expect this time of year, the trick was to address the reality of unavoidable yuletide stress and conflict without depressing people,” David Kolbusz, deputy executive creative director for BBH, the agency that created the ad, told Express News.

The main focus of the ad is to reconcile people showing how ridiculous their fights look. The Twitter campaign coming alongside the ad asks people to post their Christmas reconciliation stories with the hashtag #UniteThisXmas.
