KFC is rolling out a new menu item, and this time it's taking out the bones, just to make the experience smoother.

Original Recipe Boneless will be available at their locations starting this April 14. According to USA Today, the move is part of a strategy by the company to shake things up and offer a new landmark product.

"This will be one of the great American turnaround stories," says John Cywinski, president of KFC operations in the U.S.

He describes that the company is aiming to “provide products that are more contemporary” and change the manner in which their brand is perceived.

In addition to that, he hopes that getting the bones out of their meals will get more people through their drive-through during lunch time.
