Coming up in the long streak of GeForce GTX 400 cards, KFA2 has just stepped up and unveiled its newest iteration of the top-grade GeForce GTX 480, the so-called GeForce GTX 480 LTD OC Anarchy, which uses a triple-fan cooler to stay at acceptable heat levels.

The GeForce GTX 480 video board was the first DirectX 11-capable video card released by NVIDIA and also the most powerful.

Unfortunately, its high heat generation and power draw make it less overclocking-friendly than enthusiasts may wish, unlike the GTX 460 which actually does overclock well.

Still, hardware makers and developers of cooling solutions have been fiddling with it, KFA2 having even completed one with a triple-fan cooler.

The cooler itself is the Accelero Extreme PLUS that Arctic showed off in late August and which can handle thermal loads of up to 250W.

This even let the card's maker 'slightly' overclock the GF100 graphics processing unit, to 760 MHz to be exact.

For those interested in the specifications, the card comes with 480 CUDA cores, a shader frequency of 1,520 MHz and a VRAM clock of 3,800 MHz.

What's more, the 1,5GB of GDDR5 memory is paired with an interface of 384 bits, leading to a memory bandwidth of 182.4 GB/s and a texture fill rate of 45.6 Billion/s.

Needless to say, the board supports OpenGL 3.0 and NVIDIA's various technologies, like PhysX, CUDA, SLI and PureVideo HD.

Finally, its maker designed it with dual-DVI and HDMI outputs, while the cooler uses five copper heatpipes and three 92mm fans to disperse heat.

Unfortunately, there has been no mention of a price for the GeForce GTX 480 LTD OC Anarchy, but those interested in this product need only stop by the official product page that KFA2 has set up on its website.
