Apparently there were some problems with registering the old name

Aaron J. Seigo, one of the main KDE developers, has said that Spark, the first tablet to come with KDE installed by default, will be renamed to Vivaldi.

According to Seigo, the developers of this tablet had some problems with registering the name, so they had to change it to Vivaldi, after the famous Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi.

The announced hardware configuration of Vivaldi was an 1 GHz AMLogic ARM processor, a Mali-400 GPU (Graphics processing unit), 512 MB RAM, 4GB internal storage plus SD card slot, Wi-Fi, and a 7" capacitive multi-touch screen.

This configuration might change somewhat, as Aaron J. Seigo said that some hardware updates were also implemented, without going into details.

Vivaldi should have started to be shipped in May, but it's unclear whether it this renaming issue will push it back. The tablet will cost $265 (200 EUR).
