The fourth maintenance release of KDE Software Compilation (KDE SC) 4.4 was announced last evening, June 1st, by the KDE developers. Dubbed cheers, KDE SC 4.4.4 brings, as usual, only small bugfixes and updated translations. KDE Software Compilation 4.4.4 is composed of the KDE Plasma Workspace, the KDE Applications and the KDE Development Platform. It includes web-development applications, educational tools, administrative programs, and more, all of which are available in over 50 languages. Without any further introduction, let's take a look at the main changes brought by the new KDE Software Compilation 4.4.4:

· Dolphin's filename sorting issues were fixed; · Encoded filenames issues in ZIP archives were fixed; · The KNetwalk, LSkat, KSpaceDuel and KMines games received various bugfixes; · Other applications, such as KGpg, Kopete, KAlarm, KTeatime, or KHangMan, were improved!
