The KDE team is proud to announced a few hours ago, December 7th, the fourth maintenance release for the KDE Software Compilation 4.7 environment.

KDE Software Compilation 4.7.4 contains lots of performance improvements, bugfixes and translation updates. It contains bugfixes for Kwin, Plasma, Okular, KGpg, cmake and pop3 resource of kdepim-runtime.

For a complete list with the bugfixes brought by KDE SC 4.7.3 please take a look at the official changelog.

As usual, because it's a maintenance release and it only contains bugfixes and translation updates, KDE Software Compilation 4.7.4 will be a pleasant and safe update for all users.

Users of the Ubuntu 11.10 and Kubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) operating systems will be able to upgrade to the KDE Software Compilation 4.7.4 environment in a couple of days.

Until then, download KDE Software Compilation 4.7.4 sources right now from Softpedia.
