Plasma Media Center, a unified media experience on PCs, tablets, netbooks, TVs, and any other device capable of running KDE software, is now at version 1.1.

Canonical is not the only company that is striving to unify the user experience on multiple platforms, and the KDE developers are already working on it, but only for the media content.

After just a few development versions, the final version of Plasma Media Center gets YouTube integration, a better playlist integration with more details and drag and drop support, complete keyboard/remote-like keys support, better keyboard navigation for the All Music mode, browsing flow integration, just to mention a few of the new features.

A complete list of changes and new features can be found in the official announcement. Download Plasma Media Center 1.1 right now from Softpedia.
