Users have been asked to update as soon as possible

The KDE Project just announced the immediate availability for download of KDE Software Compilation 4.10.1.

Following the release of the first stable version in the 4.10 branch of KDE a month ago, the KDE developers have pushed the first update out the door, but consisting mostly of fixes.

“The over 100 recorded bugfixes include improvements to the Personal Information Management suite Kontact, the Window Manager KWin, and others. KDE's Development Platform has received a number of updates that affect multiple applications,” stated the official announcement.

The KDE 4.10.1 update bring many bugfixes and translation updates on top of the 4.10 release and users have been recommended to update as soon as possible.
