Japan's KDDI au has recently unveiled its plans for the spring of this year, which include some rather appealing devices, coming with OLED displays or 8-plus-megapixel cameras, as well as a 3D display and all the wireless connectivity options anyone would wish for. The new handsets are all candybar-style phones, except for the sliding Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot S001 and the two-way Hitachi H001.

The Sony Ericsson Walkman Premier3 comes in pink and sports a 3-inch display capable of delivering an 854x480 pixel resolution. The handset is able to rip CDs directly from the CD player, while its battery can boast a couple hundred hours of standby time. The Hitachi H001 Woo comes with 3D display, a 3.1-inch screen, one-seg TV, two-way flip, 5-megapixel camera, as well as a nice range of music applications, and some for sports and other services.

Another nice addition to the carrier's lineup will be the Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot S001, which includes an 8.1-megapixel camera, a 3.1-inch OLED display, as well as a nice-looking design. There will be face detection, smile shutter, auto-focus, and a LED flash coming with the camera, as well as GSM and CDMA capabilities, allowing users to get the best connectivity capabilities wherever they go.

The Toshiba T001 is a bejeweled handset, which features a 5-megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot and an OLED display. The phone comes in pink, white, and black color schemes. The Casio CA001 includes a 3-inch display, touchscreen capabilities, TV and photo snapper, it comes with text translation capabilities and it will probably be available in drearier brown and white.

Sharp SH001 comes in Cool White, Blue Sapphire, or Pink Topaz and sports an 8-megapixel snapper. There is also a 3-inch screen, Bluetooth, microSD expansion slot, and GPS capabilities, and the phone also features an AQUOS branding. The Panasonic P001 brings an OLED display, besides an internal wider screen, as well as a 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth capabilities and infrared. The phone will be available in red, black, and white versions.

The Kyocera K001 includes tracking capabilities, control over downloaded content and usage, a 2.8-inch display and a 2-megapixel camera. Kyocera NS01 comes in white, blue or brown with a 2.8-inch display, infrared, Bluetooth, and a 2-megapixel camera, as well as 100MB of internal storage. The last of the phones, Pantech NS02, is a low-end handset that also sports 100MB of storage, a 2-megapixel camera, as well as a 2.7-inch QVGA display, and it should come in Black, Ivory, and Green.
