14 DAY TRIAL // K-Lite Mega Codec Pack has received a new round of improvements this morning, so in case you’ve been experiencing issues with the previous versions, make sure you get the new one as soon as possible.
Version 10.0.6 doesn’t come as a stand-alone build, but only as an update, so you need to run build number 10.0.5 to be able to install it.
According to the official release notes, the new version comes with updates for some of the built-in tools, including MPC-HC and LAV filters.
Just like all the other builds of K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, this new update is supposed to get along very well with basically all Windows versions on the market, be they 32- or 64-bit. The codec pack also seems to work fine on Windows 8.1 RTM too.
