K-Fed Wants to Stay Married to Britney

At least until the former singer agrees to give him full custody of their children

Who would have thought that K-Fed is actually such a caring parent?

The divorce of Britney Spears has taken an unexpected turn. It seems that now it is K-Fed that is not willing to sign the divorce papers. Don't worry, it's not because he is having second thoughts or anything. Even he has come to realize that his marriage and Britney's musical career have one thing in common: they are both dead and buried. So what's making Kevin stall over the divorce?

Well, you may find it difficult to guess. Federline isn't sure that Britney will live up to the custody obligations that come with the territory. For you see, the early settlement between the two stated that Sean Preston and Jayden James will spend an equal amount of time with their mother and their father. Kevin and Britney were OK with that. But you gotta consider the fact that, while Britney was picking herself up in rehab, it was Kevin who looked after their two sons. Well now, K-Fed has proved to be a responsible parent. Good for him.

Coming back to Britney. Before she went to rehab she was an all-out party animal, which didn't quite fit the mother profile required to obtain custody. But that's all in the past now, right? Wrong. Britney has lately been seen clubbing and drinking like her old usual self. This is disturbing news for K-Fed, who is worried that Britney may go downhill again. As far as he is concerned, she can break into a million pieces, but he doesn't want his children to be around her when that happens. You gotta admit he does have a point.

So now Kevin is unwilling to sign the divorce papers. In order to do that, he wants to receive full custody in (the very likely) case that Britney goes out of control again. And since we know for sure that Britney will never agree on this, the show is bound to go on. Stay tuned!
