K-Fed Delivers the Deadly Blow

Do you remember a time when all we could do was stand by and watch as Kevin Federline, rapper/superstar/actor extraordinaire, slowly took over our lives? The man was practically everywhere, from magazine covers, to movies, social gatherings, in ads, in our face around the clock! I don't know for the rest of the world but, at one point, I was kinda hoping he'd go away and never come back, that bad my exasperation with him was...

Well, now the world wants K-Fed back. That's right, the man who used to torment us with his badass poses and awful music, the man who literally shoved our noses into him being a kept tomboy, the man who had the guts to dare showbiz to hate him (which it did, and more!) is now, thanks to his former wife's most recent antics, a man whose presence would be duly appreciated. While Britney Spears is partying her life away, with or without her kids, but certainly with the most select company of all (unknown video extras and 'skanky' assistants and friends), Kevin seems to have been the best of the parents all this time, after all.

Not only that, but he also plans to do something about it and to use this window of opportunity that his former wife unwillingly and unknowingly made possible. Therefore, he filed for full custody of the two boys he has with former pop star/teen idol Britney Spears and chances are he'll get it. Until now, the two ex spouses kept their divorce proceedings scandal-free (a very surprising and admirable feat in Tinseltown) but it wasn't until they reached the issue of the custody that sparks began to fly.

Initially, Kevin and Britney agreed on 50/50 custody of the kids, with the only condition that neither parent was to take them out of town without noticing the other beforehand. The agreement worked just fine until a couple of days ago, when an enraged and possibly very confused Britney took the boys to Las Vegas without saying a thing to their father. To top all that, while there, she also got into a physical altercation with a paparazzo and, rumor had it, Sean Preston, her eldest son, was hurt during the scuffle.

Yesterday's photos of a topless and drunk Britney getting freaky with a college stud did nothing but set more fuel to a fire that was already burning hot. So, Kevin and his attorney went to court and filed for full custody of the children, citing as reason the mother's inadequate and irresponsible behavior. Unfortunately, this is as much information that we get on the case, because all court documents are sealed, to protect the two boys from the media. But stay tuned here for more.
