K-Fed's Super Dad Act - Kinda Lame

OK, so you didn't buy into the "Daddy of the Year" act K-Fed's been putting up over the past weeks? Good. Neither did I. I mean, with all the publicity the former Chaotic couple's been getting lately, all the media battles, custody war and intense personal drama (insert your favorite "evil grin" smiley here), we've learned to doubt pretty much anything and everything we see coming from the formerly-in-love-currently-not-so-much Brit and K-Fed. And if lately Britney's been the one spending most of the time in the bad limelight...K-Fed's decided not to stay too far behind.

Remember what the custody battle/war/whatever it is between the two is mostly about? K-Fed and his team have decided to line up and prove to the world what a bad, irresponsible mother Britney is, and how the former couple's two kids are better off with dad. And remember why Britney's been so much in the news lately? That's right, parties all night, going home drunk in the wee hours of the morning and so on. And even if daddy K-Fed didn't end up in a rooftop pool fondling a college student (yet - or maybe he was not dumb enough to allow it to be recorded) he did do a Britney just this weekend and partied hard at a Las Vegas club, while reportedly drinking quite heavily and only making it home around 4 in the morning.

Now, to be honest, the first thing I did after hearing this news was to wonder how come no-one's sending subpoenas to the guys who served him with whiskey, or to the ladies who, according to witness reports, were keeping the would-be rapper and his entourage busy? And since I'm in such a mood for asking questions, here's another. How come when Britney pulls a stunt like this everybody's all over her commenting on what a bad mom she is and how she leaves her kids at home while engaging in drunken orgies and partying hard all night, and when it comes to the infamous ex-hubby it's all roses and daisies and "let him have the kids, he's better than her"?

If you want my opinion, I think the poor kids should consider sending a "rescue me" letter to Brad and Angelina, since rumor has it the Perfect Couple are on the lookout for another kid to add to the gang of happy campers. Because if we're to think things the way they are, and if partying all night is what tells a good parent from an irresponsible one, Brit and the Fed-Ex are both pretty much in the same boat. And if in the end we decide that the partying is just a fact of life with no impact on...well, anything, really, then we should all just leave Britney have her little fun now and again. Just kidding. Of course we don't want that, and of course she'll never do it (evil grin again). But what can I say - we're all allowed to hold on to our dreams, right?
