Apple has issued a formal press announcement to confirm the lineup for its iTunes Festival in London, UK, listing big names like Justin Timberlake, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Jack Johnson, and Jessie J.

These are just a few of the headliners at this year’s iTunes Festival, which runs every night in September at the Roundhouse.

The month-long show will feature over 60 performance acts which you can either watch live, if you’re so lucky as to be there in person, or on your iOS device anywhere in the world (as well as on your Mac or Apple TV).

Music fans in the US, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Mexico can win tickets to the fest through competitions run by local partners.

The official iTunes Festival app allows Londoners to participate in the ticket-winning competition right on their iOS device.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, said, “This year’s iTunes Festival is the best ever with an incredible lineup of global superstars and stellar emerging artists.”

“Music fans around the world are going to love watching this incredible month of music, whether in London at the Roundhouse or on their iOS device. We’re honored so many renowned artists are part of this year’s lineup,” Cue added.

Not surprisingly, Apple has also updated its official iTunes Festival app for UK residents adding the 2013 line-up and a new trailer for users to enjoy.

Debuted in 2007, the iTunes Festival in London has seen over 370 artists perform in front of more than 370,000 fans and tens of millions of online / television viewers.

Key performers over the years have included Sir Paul McCartney, Adele, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Alicia Keys, Paul Simon, Jack White, and Oasis.
