Justin Timberlake: It's Over Between Me and Cameron!

Sometimes, one could easily think that people really want celebrities to suffer alone. I mean, each time a new pair of lovers goes public, there are those nagging voices that wish them to fail. The same goes for Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake, at first sight a rather odd couple in terms of their personalities but one which, nonetheless, made it through for three years.

Every now and then, rumor about them breaking up appears in the press, it gets picked up and then spreads as if it were a genuine piece of news all over the world. In the past months, the two stars 'split' on various occasions for reasons ranging from Justin being too young for a serious commitment to Cameron being too possessive and clingy.

This time, 'Us Weekly' and 'Star' report that Justin broke it off with Diaz because they didn't spend enough time together. That much is true, at least, as 2006 has been a very busy year for both celebrities: Justin released a new album and went on tour to promote it, while Cameron had her acting career to handle and her movies to promote all over the world.

The already mentioned media outlets state that Justin and Cameron spent the holidays apart: she was at her parents' villa skiing, while he was spending way too much time clubbing with one of his ex-girlfriends. Even more, sources claim they heard the 'SexyBack' singer himself tell his entourage about the split.

'Me and Cameron? We're done. The breakup is for keeps!', he is quoted as saying by 'Star', while partying in a Memphis nightclub. Apparently, he uttered about the same words on New Year's Eve, when he attended Kate Hudson's big bash.

As is the case with these rumors, Cameron and Justin's publicists refused to answer calls about the alleged break up. But, as soon as something comes up, we will keep you informed.
