14 DAY TRIAL // They're still to confirm it officially in a statement to the biggest media outlets but, by all accounts, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are engaged and planning a summer wedding. More details on her engagement ring have emerged.
Rumors about the engagement first started to circulate late last year, with various sources telling the US tabs that he had surprised her with a proposal during a romantic trip to the countryside.
The news shocked even fans who were rooting for them as a couple, especially since it came after they had broken up, even announcing their decision to get some time off to the media.
Now, Biel is rocking a massive diamond ring and has been spotted shopping (allegedly for a wedding dress) in Paris.
Us Weekly claims the ring was designed by none other than Justin, who wanted to make sure he surprised Jessica with something truly out of the ordinary.
Admittedly, Jessica's stylist wanted to have an input in the choice of bauble he'd pick for her, but he decided to go with his better judgment on that.
“Jessica’s stylist really wanted Justin to come to her when picking out and designing the ring. She obviously knows what looks best on Jessica, and what type of things she likes to wear,” a source says.
“They talked about it [in advance] and then Justin completely went rogue without telling Jessica’s stylist, and decided to design the ring on his own,” the insider further explains.
The result is not something that Biel would normally wear, but a gorgeous ring nevertheless, the report goes on to mention.
“[She loves it] But I wouldn’t necessarily say it fits her style,” notes the spy.
Because they won't say anything to make their relationship official or talk about it in the press, Jessica and Justin's romance has been plagued, from the get-go, by some of the most ridiculous and hilarious rumors.
For instance, in January this year, as Jessica was still to be seen out in public with the ring, word had it that she hated the bauble Justin proposed with because it was too small – so she made him return it and buy her a bigger one.
